Christine Cushing is back on Food Network Canada in “Wall of Chefs”

Chef Christine Cushing, host of five national TV shows, most recently Confucius Was a Foodie (PBS Canada and US) is back home, so to speak. Her newest show Wall of Chefs is on Food Network Canada where she hosted Christine Cushing Live – the only Canadian Chef to host a live-to-air program (300 hours of programming). Wall of Chefs premiered Feb. 3, 10pm ET/PT on Food Network Canada. Christine’s many accolades include being the longest standing regular (in-house chef) for 10 seasons on The Marilyn Denis Show, developed over 1000 recipes for TV, prestigious keynote speaking roles and authentic endorsements negotiated through my company. Her favourite recipes can be seen on her YouTube Channel or in her cookbooks.

Sarah Keenleyside hosted Designlines’ 2020 Designer of the Year Awards

My client, interior designer Sarah Keenleyside and HGTV host had the honour of emceeing Designlines’ 2020 Designer of the Year Awards on Jan. 24 at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Toronto. More than 200 members of Toronto’s design community from a variety of disciplines attended the event. Winners included Superkül as 2020 Designer of the Year and Omar Gandhi Architects for Best Restaurant Design (Lady Marmalade). Sarah is co-host of HGTV’s Backyard Builds and been part of the ensemble cast of Home to Win for 3 seasons. She has run her own residential design studios for the past 10 years. I’d also like to give Sarah’s husband singer/songwriter Justin Rutledge a shout out for his Juno Award nomination for Contemporary Roots, Album of the Year!

Chef Christine Cushing awarded ‘Best Chef’ by Taste Awards

HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to celebrity Chef Christine Cushing for her tie with Chef Gordon Ramsay in winning “Best Chef in a Series” Taste Award for her PBS show Confucius Was a Foodie. What a coup! The show won in five categories including Best Food Travel Series, Best Food Program, Best New Series, Best Ethnic Lifestyle Series, Program or Film. This is a huge honour and we have every reason to be proud of fellow Canadian Christine who eats, cooks, explores her way through the world looking at surprising influence of Chinese cuisines on the show. The Taste Awards ceremony takes place in Beverly Hills on March 9^th!

Sarah Keenleyside’s ads for Rakuten are fabulous!

Talented HGTV designer and host Sarah Keenleyside (Backyard Builds and Home to Win) filmed 3 fabulous commercials for Rakuten.ca, the cash back and shopping rewards company. As her agent I negotiated Sarah’s role with the Tempo team at HGTV Canada and the results were fabulous. The holiday commercial is currently airing. Sarah is recognized for creating unique and creative environments tailored to the individuality of her clients (Sarah Keenleyside Design Studio, SKDS). Her travels abroad have influenced her eclectic sensibility and fueled her desire to design in a style that is uniquely Canadian. She is married to Juno Award winner singer/songwriter Justin Rutledge and they have a five month old son Jack.
